Why I LOVE Weddings

Me, As A Real Life Princess.

Ever since I was little, weddings have felt like pure magic to me. Maybe it was Ella Enchanted (or simply Anne Hathaway?) that first swept me away; all the gowns, the music, the promise of happily-ever-after. To me, weddings were the closest thing to a real-life fairytale.

I remember being genuinely heartbroken when I found out I wasn’t in my parents’ wedding. Of course, I wasn’t even born yet but that didn’t stop little-me from feeling left out. My older brother was there, and in my mind, that meant I had missed the most magical celebration our family had ever had. Luckily, the most magical part has been the 25+ years that they have shared their love with each other and the world.

That early fascination never faded; it grew. From being a bridesmaid to event coordinator and then manager. Weddings, I learned, are about so much more than one beautiful day. They’re a love story brought to life. They’re the quiet, meaningful details: the way two people’s hands find each other during vows, the happy tears in a parent’s eyes, the music that makes a roomful of loved ones sway in unison.

I love that every wedding is a world of its own! A blend of traditions, personalities, and little touches that could only belong to that couple. I love the laughter over cocktails, the shimmer of candlelight during dinner, and the moment on the dance floor when everyone forgets the time.

For me, planning weddings isn’t just a job. It’s a way of weaving dreams into reality. It’s about creating spaces where love feels tangible, joy feels endless, and every guest walks away knowing they have witnessed something truly special.

Everyone deserves a fairytale.
